Websites that work

Accessibilty

There's been a lot of talk recently about the Disability Discrimination Act and the implications for the web. Basically, you wouldn't deny anyone access to your shop or service, so why deny access to your website? There are around 8 million people registered as having a disability in the UK, and a lot of them are online. So if your site caters for everyone, then your market is greatly increased. Simple.

All new sites by 45b are built to meet the standards set out by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Ensuring your site maintains these standards however, is a different matter. We can offer help and support when it comes to entering content. Or we can take control of entering your site content for you - think of us as your "in-house" web expert.

This site meets the following standards:

  • Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict
  • Valid CSS!
  • Level Triple-A conformance icon,
W3C-WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0
