NHS Lothian's C:Card outlets provide free condoms in Edinburgh and the Lothians. 45b's bespoke content management system "Nuggets" was deployed to handle the basic site structure and Google Maps customisation and integration handled their requirement to be able to keep the list of outlets up-to-date.
Scotmid needed a quick and simple website to promote their new perfume retail outlets - The Fragrance House. A slideshow highlighting the current special offers was included to add a bit of interactivity.
My Driving School were recommended to 45b as they were after a quick, low-cost but effective website to promote their new driving school. The cars were about to come back with their dynamic new wraps, so a fast turnaround was required. A simple site was built, with Facebook integration to keep the homepage fresh.
Triple G, one of Scotland's main concert promoters, approached 45b looking to upgrade their old site for something a bit more dynamic. Several meetings, and a couple of months later, the new site went live, featuring a secure members' area, RSS feeds and a host of additional administrative functions behind the scenes.
Steve and Richard decided their old site had served its purpose, and it was time for a bit of a makeover. A fresh design was created, and their new HD video was integrated. The site was built in ASP.NET, which allowed for a fast turnaround and means upgrading it again in the future will be a simple process. Steve said "we're getting loads of positive comments about the new site, thanks very much!"
The Murrayfield Nursery was looking for a website to promote their nursery in the west of Edinburgh, but didn't have a large budget to do so. The domain was bought, and a simple website was designed and built, fully optimised for search engines. Maxine, the manager said "thanks, the website looks great!". 
DW Cases are a Musselburgh-based supplier of all kinds of packaging products. Having bought their domain name several years ago, they decided it was finally time for a website. 45b built an ASP.NET site which showcases their products and services in a simple and effective manner. 
Livingstone Barnes & Cunningham are Edinburgh-based construction specialists. They approached 45b to develop a site where they could showcase their work via an updateable gallery. 45b's new "Nuggets" content management system was used for the site, with a bespoke Gallery element, linking their Flash image gallery into an easy to use administration module.
Music for Scotland's empire continues to grow! Richard and Steve put on a showcase event in Edinburgh and advertised it via a popup window on the Music for Scotland website. The event was such a success that they're now planning on regular showcases, and needed a new site to promote this. The new site ties in with their existing artist database, making updating the content a breeze. 
Brendon had a website which was fairly out-of-date, and used an early version of Joomla. To make matters worse, the original developer had disappeared. Desperate to bring the site out of the nineties, he approached 45b. The Xplosive Fitness site is the first site to use our brand-new, ultra low-cost content management system. For the price of a brochure site you can now have complete control over your site content. This site was designed and built in the space of a fortnight.
Dunedin Vets approached 45b to develop a brand new CMS-controlled website to promote the services available at their four East Lothian practices.
Childsafe Blinds wanted a quick and inexpensive way to start selling their products online. So a simple website was built, with an integrated Paypal Shopping Cart.
Au Mai sell exclusive, high quality, ladies jewellery. The site was designed, built, and integrated with EKM Powershop as a low-cost route into ecommerce.
Cupcakes & Ribbons are bespoke cupcake makers for the Edinburgh area specialising in "daringly different" flavours. 45b was lucky enough to receive a constant flow of delicious samples throughout the build, and now needs a lie down.
The Joyriders sort of split up sometime in the early nineties after scoring "Single of the Week" twice in NME. Reforming for the guitarist's 40th in 2007 seemed like a good idea. Being asked to go and tour Japan in 2009 was a bolt from the blue that led to the hasty creation of our "official" website. Warning: contains some choice language!
Francey Limited approached 45b to redesign their joinery manufacturing website as a showcase for their work. Utilising "iTunes" style image galleries and drop-down menus the site offers a clear and simple portfolio of their bespoke joinery services.
Neon Coaching are an East Sussex-based executive coaching company with clients such as Virgin Media Television, Geronimo, and talkbackTHAMES.
Enable Scotland joined forces with RespectMe, Scotland's anti-bullying service, to create an informative resource for parents and carers of children with learning disabilities. 
Sara Sutherland Interiors is an established Edinburgh interior design firm. They'd recently undergone a re-branding and needed a website that tied in closely with their new identity. 45b provided a bespoke content management system, which allows full control over the site copy, as well as the flash portfolio section. 
Music for Scotland was formed after the runaway success of the Seattle Wedding Band website. Finding themselves turning down booking requests, they decided to start this unique wedding & events music agency. 45b provided a bespoke content management system, which offers full control over the site content and artists directory.
Sovereign Resources are an Edinburgh recruitment agency, specialising in the construction sector. They needed a site that reflected their professionalism and eye for quality, and also one which could be easily extended in the future, as their business expanded. 45b provided an ASP.NET site, meaning the technology is already in place should they look to add features in the future.
Milk With Two Sugars approached 45b to redesign their website, which was already up-and-running. As their customer base is tradesmen seeking financial advice, 45b radically altered the look and feel of their site. Adding large imagery and 'search engine friendly' page titles while retaining the colour scheme already in place. 45b provided a full set of XHTML page templates for integration into their system.
702 Gazette is a free magazine distributed to over 15000 households in South West Edinburgh. The website was designed to add increased value to advertisers, as well as offering a unique directory listing service for local businesses. Enhancements include a fully automated classifieds section and an image gallery with online purchasing enabled. A bespoke content management system gives complete control over the site content.
Scotmid approached 45b to completely redesign their suite of websites. Designs, XHTML & CSS templates, and full style guidelines documents were provided, which allowed them to easily integrate the new designs into their existing sites.
Created as part of the Scotmid website redesign, the Semichem site was designed to retain the Scotmid corporate identity, while having its own unique styling.
45b were asked to create the Scotmid Funeral Service website from scratch, as part of the Scotmid website redesigns. It was decided that the funeral site should retain a separate identity from the other Scotmid sites. 45b provided a full XHTML & CSS site.
Braid Vets wanted a new look for their website, which had been built in-house by one of their staff. They also expressed an interest in being able to update and maintain the content themselves, so 45b provided a bespoke content management system, offering full control over the site content.
Mayshade Garden Centre needed a fresh look for their website. They wanted to promote the "family run" aspect of the centre so the site was designed with a "potting shed" look and feel. A bespoke content management system gives them full control over the site content. An online store has been integrated, as well as a 'Gardeners Diary' blog, and a monthly email newsletter.
Visit Slovenija offer well appointed self-catering apartments in the Slovenian countryside. They needed a site that featured large photography, as well as one that they could optimise the copy in. Furthermore, they wanted this in 5 languages. 45b created a bespoke content management system which allows them complete control over the site content, in all 5 languages.
Working in partnership with Nothing Does, 45b created a fully content managed site for David L Douglas to showcase their unique kitchens.
The Electric Cycle Company came to 45b with their design and just wanted the website put together. Indicating the possibility of adding an online store at some point, and also expressing an interest in being able to control the stock list in-house, 45b created a bespoke content management system which gives them total control over the site content.
Chesterhill Stud approached 45b to create a website for their highland pony stud farm. Being on a tight budget, 45b suggested a simple website, showcasing the pony and offering clients the ability to nominate mares via the site. An ongoing maintenance contract ensures that site updates are dealt with promptly and efficiently by 45b.
Working in partnership with Ten Miles East, 45b provided a full site for this art holiday company, based in the Scottish Highlands. 
Edinburgh image consultant, Judith Campbell, needed a website that presented a fresh, appealing look. A "Style Personality" quiz was integrated, to help capture potential new clients email addresses.
The Scruffy Dug Co. were just starting out and needed a website for their dog bakery business, but were on a very tight budget. 45b initially created a simple site, which has now expanded to include an online store.
Pop Party offer the full "recording studio experience" for groups and childrens' parties. They wanted a vibrant looking site to attract new business, and also needed to control page content in-house. 45b provided a bespoke content management system, and the site features a full database of the thousands of songs on offer.
Dem-Master Demolition wanted a website to reflect their new corporate identity. 45b provided a full site, tying in closely with their printed material, and showcasing the services they offer. 
Robert Darling & Sons, a Midlothian public works and landscape contractor needed a site to showcase the variety of services they offered, and also to use as a recruitment tool. 45b provided a bespoke content management system offering full control over site content and their vacancies section.
Critically-acclaimed Scottish slouchers, Northern Alliance, didn't exactly approach 45b, as this is what head 45b honcho Craig Smith, does in his spare time. It's downbeat music, "sadder than lassie", which the critics seem to love, but the public seem indifferent to. Ho hum. Even if you don't want a website, you could always nip over and buy a few CDs so we can clear some space in our lofts.

In partnership with North and East, and Scorpion Solutions, 45b designed and built a massive bespoke content-managed site for Heriots Rugby Club. Offering a wealth of functions and features, automated league table generation, online store, fixture lists etc. None of which appear to now be in use. They are there though, take our word for it.
Sadly defunct Scottish alt-country legends, The Sundowns, approached 45b after finding out how cheap we were, (at the time!). Keith the drummer was luckily web-savvy enough to do a grand job of maintaining the site content, via the bespoke alt-content management system. Left up here for purely sentimental reasons, and also to expose how good this band were.Testimonials
