A new study predicts that email marketing spending will grow by approximately 24% in 2008. In times when budgets are tight, email marketing could be the inexpensive answer to all your promotional needs.

There are several providers of online mass-mailing services.  45b used Dotmailer (www.dotmailer.co.uk) for the Mayshade Garden Centre newsletter.  Other US-based options are available, such as Constant Contact (www.constantcontact.com) and iContact (www.icontact.com).  Costs vary, so be sure to choose a provider within your budget. 

Once your account is set up, it's just a case of designing your newsletter, coding the HTML template, then integrating this into your chosen system.  After a bit of practice, you'll soon be sending out regular mailouts to all your customers, and tracking the success of your campaigns using the administrative tools provided.
